OverDraw is a Safari Web Extension that lets you draw and annotate webpages. Your privacy is straightforward: everything stays on your device.
OverDraw does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension has no server, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs.
All drawings, drafts, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone other than you.
OverDraw requests the following browser permissions:
No permission is used to monitor your browsing, collect URLs you visit, or access page content beyond what is needed to display the drawing overlay.
When you save or export a drawing, OverDraw captures a screenshot of the visible tab solely to generate a thumbnail preview stored locally alongside your drawing. This image is never transmitted anywhere.
OverDraw does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
